The Catholic Defender: Them Copperas Cove Catholics
What a great day this has been, taking Jesus to the street is a great blessing outside our Church walls. St. Thomas Aquainus would have been proud! From the family of deepertruth, we want to wish everyone a very blessed day. The Feast of Corpus Christi is one of the most important because this is all about Jesus coming to us in the Eucharist. What a great truth, this is central for all Catholics.
We also want to congratulate Fr. Kurtis Wiedenfield who was ordained a Catholic Priest this past Saturday, 9 June 2012! He celebrated his first Mass today, Sunday, 10 June. He did a great job. The Lord is raising a great Army of believers at this crucial time in history.

It truly is a blessing to be Catholic! We took Jesus to the streets today as well, Jesus in the Monstrance, Under the canopy, lead by the Knights of Columbus, Candles and Incense, 12 Altar servers, Deacon, Priest and Congregation! Singing songs of Eucharistic Worship. Then back to the church for Benediction and Eucharistic Adoration! "This is my body, this is my blood" Jesus said it, Catholics believe it!, Margie
ReplyDeleteThis is what we did as well, but the Knights changed their cloths because it was hot! I changed into jeans and a shirt and was drenched. I did some running to take these pics!
